A pure joy to visit and tastes the are authentic and reminiscent of our time living in Japan. Making a reservation is highly recommended.

Stopped by Izakaya Tori in West LA with a friend during Dine LA, and we had a fantastic experience. We went with the Dine LA sushi menu, ordered the rich uni cream pasta, and paired it with a bottle of wine. The quality and freshness of the sushi were impressive for the price, and every dish was beautifully presented. On top of the incredible food, our server was attentive and checked on us throughout the night. It’s such a wonderful spot for a weekend dinner or a night out with friends.

Excellent Japanese here... authentic with the usual various (delicious) American rolls. The katsu a kara age were both excellent. They pay a lot of attention to the sauces. The Mayo with the Kara Age was fantastic as was the katsu sauce.

Needed a late night snack with my mom and LOVED IT. The seabass tempura was literally out of this world. Transcending the game literally. We were the only ones in the restaurant (granted it was 1 am) but do not let the emptiness deter you from how good it is!!
