  This restaurant is a hidden gem in West Covina. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were warmly greeted and welcomed by the host/waiter. The interior design and ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful and classy. The food was fresh, flavorful, and presented beautifully. We loved all the items we ordered: - Dahi Pani Puri - Chicken Tikka Masala - 24K Lamb Shank - Garlic Naan They gave us a refreshing dessert at the end too. We will definitely be back and recommend this to our family and friends!

  I rarely do this type of reviews, but this great restaurant makes me write this one. The food and services at Golden Tadka were amazing. The server/host (Honey) was very professional and the location was also amazing. My wife and I will come back to this establishment in the future and we highly recommend this restaurant for great and authentic Indian food. Everything was fresh and delicious. My only regret is that I did not take any photos of the great meals that we had. We were hungry and we ate everything fast. Bon Appetite to all.

  I think this is a brand new Indian restaurant just opened near the West Covina Mall. The sign Soft Opening is still on the front door entrance. There are only 5 stars reviews for this place so we're kind is curious to find out why. The place is warmly yet trendy decorated. Just the right amount of space for everything. You can tell they still not fully organized. Service was very slow. There was a new employee so I guess she's was on training. Nevertheless the young boss or manager did managed to tell us that, and apologized for the slow. Which is pretty nice of them. From the fish appetizers to the chicken skewers, the paneer cheese and the spinach. Everything were just very delicious. My wife and I found the food to be extra special. We tried lots of Indian food but this place truly stands out. Definitely will be on to of our go to list. Parking is easy and it's just around the corner of the theater.

  We’re so happy we found this restaurant. What a gem in West Covina. It’s in a strip mall but once you step inside, the serene experience and dark/lush decor, beautifully presented dishes, warm service and absolutely mind-blowing delicious food take you to a different world. I wish I took pictures of the pani puri, chicken tikka masala, mango laasi, samosa chat etc etc but we dove in and finished as quickly as they came out. The only reason we stopped eating was because our stomachs were sadly too full. By the way, I think there’s a 5-star chef in the back because the presentation of the popular chicken tikka masala nearly prevented me from eating it. It was gorgeous, elegant, of high-quality and, most importantly, delicious. We live in the South Bay but are already planning a long trip back here to try more dishes.

  Golden Tadka absolutely exceeded my expectations! We came in to support their grand opening and left genuinely impressed. Every single dish we ordered was outstanding. The crispy paneer appetizer was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and tossed in an incredibly flavorful sauce with fresh peppers and onions. The Manchow soup was rich, comforting, and packed with flavor, and the mango lassi was one of the best I’ve ever had—thick, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. I also had the dal with rice, and it was absolutely delicious. Sometimes the simplest dishes are the hardest to perfect, and Golden Tadka nailed it. It was comforting, flavorful, and tasted just like a homemade meal. The presentation was beautiful, the portions were generous, and you can tell everything is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. It’s rare to find a new restaurant that gets everything right from day one, but Golden Tadka truly did. If you’re looking for authentic Indian food with amazing flavors and outstanding hospitality, this place is a must-visit. Everything we tried was a 10/10, and I already can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu. Congratulations to the entire Golden Tadka team on an incredible opening—I wish you all nothing but continued success! 🎉👏
