  This is the worst Safeway that I have frequented. I consistently have to check expiration dates because they clearly do not. I was buying tortillas the other day and 50% of the packages were expired. Yesterday, I was going to get some lunch meat. I was second in line at the deli counter, three or four people came behind me and were waiting. There was one girl waiting on all of us. There was a guy behind the counter that was wrapping chickens, or something. I asked if he could come out and help us since I had been waiting for up to five minutes. She said he was handling hot food and could not come out to help us. They would rather have five people stand and wait on their lunch breaks, rather than set the task aside and give us good customer service. Their produce department just does not know how to handle bananas as they are always bruised and brown. Their front end customer service is very hit and miss. The old timer staff all have bad attitudes and show it! I complained to the manager about a conversation I overheard amongst two employees discussing their payroll, hours and dislike for their supervisor. Brad, the store manager was quite appropriate, unfortunately, these customer service issues are beyond him. Corporate needs to get involved here and fix this store! Unreal! Sean is the most unprofessional employee I have ever run across. I have witnessed many unprofessional interactions between he and customers/other staff members. I live at Rossmoor, which is .7 miles away from this Safeway and feel ripped off that I can’t have a good shopping experience.

  This store is the worst safeway in the area. Shawn accused me of stealing flowers without realizing I made 2 transactions. He was extremely rude. I have also witnessed interactions between him and other consumers and he is always the same. One lady yesterday left crying. Aside from this interaction this store is almost always out of everything. Better of driving to a different store or shopping else where. True disgrace to Safeways everywhere

  Usually I just say how much I hate this store, which I still do. But now, I don’t mind paying for bags when I’ve forgotten my own, but please, if I have to pay for bags at least get something with handles. These are the crappiest low cost bags I have ever seen. They are not even usable for garbage!
