Thankfully I thought to check the dates before I left the store and dropped off the expired ones at checkout so no one else accidentally bought. One of them expired in April! They’re definitely not checking the inventory well.
- ANAmber NJun 1, 20261.0I was carrying a 35-bottle package of bottled waters and a man in a suit jacket brushed past me without saying excuse me. He stood at the front of the store taking a phone call. I went to ring up the waters and the self-checkout system flagged the item (maybe I scanned the wrong barcode). I then used the handheld scanner to scan the waters. However, the system still flagged my transaction and prompted me to wait for assistance. A staff member saw I needed help and asked a manager for assistance. At which point, the man in the suit jacket wordlessly made whatever adjustments needed to be made and continued his phone call. I’m not asking for stellar or over-the-top customer service but this level of inattention from a manager is unfortunate. I asked an associate for the manager’s name and was told it was Abdul. I will also be making a formal complaint on the store’s website.
