While some things have changed over the last few decades, El Pollo Loco's delivery of fresh, authentic food has not. Everything starts with whole chickens that are slowly marinated in a special recipe of herbs, spices, fruit juices and garlic. The chicken is then expertly fire-grilled to perfection the authentic way - on our signature open-flame grills - then hand cut into your favorite Mexican entrees. We put that same dedication and care into our handmade guacamole, salsas and dressings every day. At El Pollo Loco in Vista,CA, we believe that when real food meets real fire the result is great taste that will keep you coming back again and again.

- CGC GSep 21, 20263.0First time at this location. Double chicken bowl had more rice than chicken and beans. Chicken pieces didn't taste fresh and didn't look or taste the way I have had at other another location.
- AVArlene ValenzuelaSep 9, 20261.0I just had to put one star so I can say my piece . Ever since I remember , the restaurant never had AIR CONDITIONER . It is 100degrees and naturally I am sweating . I did not enjoy eating here at all. I had to take someone because he requested his birthday to be here . Not even fans!
