It originated in Brittany, France, and translates into “Buttery Cake”. A pastry that is laminated with butter and sugar. After baking, it is topped with a sprinkle of Fleur de Sel and a Grand Marnier syrup.

Our top seller, filled with house-made almond cream and topped with an almond glaze and toasted almonds. The almond cream is a mix of butter, sugar, eggs, almond meal, and rum.

Our house loaf used to make the Avocado Tartine. It is 85% bread flour, 10% Rye, and 5% whole Wheat Flour at 80% hydration. Naturally leavened with a whole wheat liquid levain and handmade at our Ventura Location. Because of the sourdough process, there is a two-day lead time for orders on this bread. Please order this loaf separately if you need the rest of your order the next day, as it requires a 2-day lead time and will affect the earliest pickup date available for all your items.

Our classic French sourdough, naturally leavened for a deep, balanced flavor that’s only gently tangy. With a crisp, golden crust and a soft, open crumb, this loaf is as versatile as it is satisfying — perfect toasted with butter, served alongside soup or salad, or used as the foundation for an exceptional sandwich.

A slow, fully natural 5-day process brings this wholesome loaf to life. We begin with a raisin fermentation starter — no added yeast — allowing the wild, naturally occurring yeast on the raisins to gently leaven the dough. Sprouted grains add depth, flavor, and nutrition, creating a hearty loaf with a tender crumb and subtle sweetness. Perfect toasted in the morning, paired with cheese, or enjoyed simply with good butter.
