How in the absolute heck are you out of chocolate chip walnut cookies,THE SIGNATURE COOKIE, at 8:45 PM on a Friday??? My best friend wanted a vegan cookie and guess what? Out of VEGAN cookies too. 0 for 2. Every time I come here, it’s an impossible task to get a cookie. Actually hilarious.

Oof got a baguette and roll from here and it was truly inedible. Pretty sure it was 2-3 days old. Not a great look

I tried this place for the first time after hearing a lot about it. I ordered two cookies: the chocolate cookie and the chocolate chip cookie. Both were excellent. They had a crispy exterior with a rich, soft, and gooey center. They were generously filled with ingredients—plenty of chocolate and lots of walnuts. Behind the shop, there’s a surprisingly large production area. Considering the size of the bakery, I expected a wider variety of products at the front counter. It seems to be more than enough for their current operation, but with a production space of that size, I imagine they could offer an even broader selection. The retail display itself is actually quite small. That said, the products they do offer are very good. The atmosphere is also lovely. It really feels like you’re visiting a real bakery, and being able to see the production area adds to the experience. The only downside for me—and perhaps this is because I was visiting as a tourist—is that there’s nowhere to sit and enjoy your food. I know that’s fairly common in the U.S., whereas in Europe even small bakeries usually have at least a few seats. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to grab some delicious cookies to take away.
