  I found this place through Valley Eats on IG. The food was incredibly good. We got the bento plate and two extra sushi rolls! Can’t wait to return.

  Average sushi place that isn't authentic, but the fish is fresh. There aren't a lot of sushi places in the area, so I you want sushi and you're in Van Nuys, this will suffice. However, if you're willing to drive 12 minutes out, Sherman Oaks has better establishments.

  Maybe its cause I eat sushi a lot but I had high hopes going in because of the reviews. The tempura was oily to the point of being soggy. The katsu looked like it had been a refried old order (first time I did not finish a katsu). Abalcore roll was okay but overly sauced. I dont leave reviews, but had to for this place just because I felt disappointed given the experience and price.

  One of the 5 best sushi restaurants I have been to and I have eaten sushi all around the world. In costal cities and landlocked cities too and Sushi GOKEN is really great!! A friend told me about it and I thought, “it can’t be that good?” IT IS!!! Try it and see if it’s not your new favorite in the Valley!

  The food was good, however the service was unsatisfactory. We were skipped on getting our food. They were prioritizing the people they know. My kids got there food first. They had finished eating and my husband and I were still waiting. Is unfortunate because their service went from great to horrible.
