  Ordered a salad along with other things and didn’t get any dressing. Used my reward points for free churros and didn’t get them either. Unfortunately didn’t notice until I was already at work and about to eat my dinner.

  This was my first time having a bad experience at the El Pollo Loco drive-thru in Upland. I usually come here 2–3 times a week because I work nearby, and I’ve never had an issue before. Today, I had a very unpleasant experience with the lady who helped me at the drive-thru. It was my first time using the app, and I was trying to get a special that my coworker had told me about. She seemed very annoyed and was unwilling to give me the special because I didn’t have the QR code. She also did not give me any tortillas. When it was time to pay, I had to give my phone three times because she wouldn’t bring the machine close enough for me to use it. I also asked for some salsa, and she was very rude when she gave me only one. I understand that people can have bad days, but the way I was treated was very disappointing, especially because I am a regular customer and come here several times a week. I hope this can be addressed because I normally enjoy coming to this location.

  Carlos took my order He’s the manager btw for 7 pm and we arrived 5 minutes late I admit that. He left the cashier position when we went inside to pick up and he told everybody there to not serve us because he has no time or chicken that he gave away our order …I think that is terrible service I understand he must have been stressed but there are kinder ways of treating customers if he came out and said “look mam I apologize I did give away your food because you came a few minutes late but I can put down more chicken and the wait will be 40 minutes ect that is TOTALLY FINE AND VALID. I would have waited; But he did not handle the situation correctly I’ve been in the food service business for years and he has absolutely no customer service with customers and with his fellow co workers he was yelling at them and saying ugly things in Spanish to my dad and myself I don’t think he knew we could understand Spanish its not right . Will never come back to this location.

  Es lamentable, creo que cambian personal todos los meses, me imagino con el único afán de pagar menos ocupando personal más barato, el sabor ya no es el mismo de antes y ahora ya ni limpian el pollo, ahora lo sirven con toda la grasa que antes le retiraban, una pena, LA COMIDA SOLÍA SER MUY BUENA.
