    Okay so… usually I go into Safeway to get my floral arrangements because Safeways flowers NEVER miss, they’re fresh they’re gorgeous, I can ALWAYS count on Safeways floral department. Every. Single. Time. I have purchased roses, I buy two dozen roses and ask the floral department to arrange them. They will then ask if I’d like baby’s breath, if there’s certain pedals or greenery I’d like removed, and they do an outstanding job and they never skip a beat. Well this afternoon I go to purchase my two dozen rose arrangement and like always, the flowers are beautiful! I walk up to the counter SMILING, (because it’s a nice day there’s beautiful flowers in my hand and I’m about to talk to a PERSON so why would I not smile?) I ask if they can arrange my flowers and add baby’s breath. “Sam floral manager” with the most stale face says “we don’t add anything in there, everything we use is out on the floor” to which I say “oh you guys don’t add it in anymore?” And she responds “you must’ve gotten it from somewhere else because we don’t do that here” I say “I only come here for flowers” and she says “nope not here I’m the manager and we don’t have baby’s breath”. At this point, my smile wipes off my face and i say “well you have great employees then” not once has she welcomed us, there was no smile, she looked absolutely miserable with her job or something was on her mind, whatever. point is she’s a manager and she represents your entire floral department. She came off as rude and has little to no respect for customers. We live in a society that customer service is constantly falling short and this store is slipping down that slope as well. Id much rather get rude customer service anywhere else and save $40 on flowers to avoid that gross attitude. I can walk into a Walmart, Costco, Savemart or Raley’s (and guess what, usually those employees SMILE BACK) and buy flowers and have to arrange them at home. Again there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the flowers themselves, I actually felt bad for the roses I handed over to her. This is a customer service issue, it’s how your employees are representing your store, blatantly, it sucks :/

    Very nice store , good variety, I like it. , just the guys from the Deli are very rude no eye contact no thank you no nothing , I feel very unwelcome today when I asked for my ham . I couldn’t see their names but I think their new employees , one has long hair tail , and the other wear cap , I feel like I was asking my food for free, so disappointed

    Great, my favorite store for specials & $5 Friday. But I do need to say that the $5 items has decreased quite a bit. Not as great as it use to be in past. Miss that they No longer offer the "Strawberry shortcake" our family Loves that cake. Current bakery offers NOT THAT GREAT !

    I had a very negative experience with Jerry at the express checkout lane. Didn't hand me my money in my hand, and didn't tell me my total when I asked rather he pointed at the screen to avoid telling me. (And then I get a AI response)

    I highly recommend this store because of the EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE I received today from the Deli department Claudette. She TRULY went ABOVE AND beyond excellent customer service to help me, she even upselled me a meal. But MOST of all, it was her EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE that inspired me to write a review about her. PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE HER Safeway. It's because of her excellent customer service that makes a customer wanna return. She was HAPPY, HELPFUL, KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND OVERALL EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE...TGANK YOU AGAIN CLAUDETTE. YOU HIGHLY DESERVE RECOGNITION... YOUR AMAZING, AND SO IS YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE....🤓🤗 I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SAFEWAY BECAUSE OF THE SERVICE I RECEIVED TODAY
