  I’ve been shopping at this Vons for about 20 years, and I’ve seen several store managers come and go. The previous managers were respectful, and the employees generally seemed more comfortable at work. Since the new store manager took over, the atmosphere has changed noticeably. From what I’ve personally observed, she comes across as extremely rude and unprofessional toward employees and especially customers!!!!!! The overall environment feels completely different, and it’s hard not to notice how , stressed many of the workers seem.. These are people who come to work every day and deserve to be treated with basic respect We Customers can feel the difference in the environment, and it’s disappointing to see employees that would help me at checkout who used to seem happy at work now looking so discouraged ESPECIALLY WITH LINE GOING ALL THE WAY DOWN AISLES IT IS RIDICULOUS! I hope Vons management takes the time to look into what is happening at this location. The way employees and customers are treated matters, and the current atmosphere is very disappointing!

  I have no idea how this store is still open. I've lived in the area 20+ years, and have never seen a store with such disdain for its customer base. Just close already. Sell to another chain, fire the management, just do something..... I used to come here more often 10 to 15 years ago, now I primarily use Ralphs. BUT my wife likes 1 or 2 products she can only find at Vons. Tonight it was, as expected, poorly staffed, as always. I do some quick shopping, walk to the front. Only 3 of the 4 self checkout were working. There were ZERO non-self-checkout open, and the line had grown to about 12, maybe 15 customers deep. My time is valuable, to me at least, certainly not to Vons. Not wishing to stand in line for what would have been 20+minutes. I sat my hand cart full of groceries on an unused register belt and walked out. This was my last visit. Its not all Vons, its THIS Vons. I can go to another one with a bit more planning and get my wifes items.

  I’ve been going to this grocery store for all of my thirty years of life, and many of the staff there watched me grow up. But in the past few years, they’ve practically stopped staffing the store, and those that DO get to work, are overworked to the point where the CUSTOMERS ARE CONCERNED. Three people is NOT ENOUGH STAFF to run an entire store on a SATURDAY. It shouldn’t take an hour to buy a gallon of milk. I’ve seen dozens of people at this point dropping their items and walking out after 20 minutes of waiting to get through the one and only functioning SELF checkout (with no human checked in sight) I don’t know what’s going on behind the curtain, but if they don’t start staffing more people, before the store collapses- or worse, one of the overworked teammates does. It’s rediculous.

  Store can be pricey. I only shop the sales here. But they also have things here.I can't buy anywhere else.
