- THTrevor Holley6 days ago1.0Made a online delivery order and they would not deliver it, and when i called them to ask where it was they said they are busy and basically that it’s not their problem and hung up on me. This was after being on hold for 20 minutes because they didn’t want to talk to me the first time I called. They refunded the 200 dollar order and it will take 7 days to get the money back. Horrible customer service, extremely rude people.

It can be difficult to find a deli with gluten free bread, but when the deli is IN the store that sells gluten free bread, it should be a no brainer. Their only solution was for me to buy a loaf of gluten free bread (which happens to be the same price as the sandwich), which doubles the cost of the sandwich. Other Safeways have figured this out and are accommodating to those with celiac. Until Safeway in Truckee wakes up and acknowledges celiac is not a fad diet, I recommend those with celiac avoid them. The manager would not even have a conversation. It was a hard no. Stay away
