- DMDiane MirelesMay 13, 20265.0This particular Safeway has a bit of everything from cold foods to hot already made foods. Plants & flowers are BEAUTIFUL at this location and affordably priced! It's a very clean store to shop at. There is also a bakery just off to the right of the entrance. These people can bake & decorate beautiful, "kiddos" to them 👍👍. Delicious at that!! There is a variety of hot foods and what we've tasted was very very delicious as well. As far as cold foods or foods that you can take home and cook or warm, there is a pretty fair selection. We've actually bought quite a bite of cold foods here and we were NEVER disappointed!! I've also noticed pots at this location. So buy a plant or flowers and treat them to a pot "as in planters OKAY!!" I'm not trying to get in trouble here!! But I do recommend this location and give it a 💯.

- GSGreg SiApr 27, 20261.0I live 1 mile from this store and I will travel 7 miles to the Mountain House location for service. I went there today and stood in line at the deli. It sucks when you're standing in line and the person who was just serving the customer before you runs off in to the kitchen and just ignores you. After standing there and watching workers walk by, make eye contact and then proceed to ignore you can make anyone feel unwelcome. Not even the decency to say, I'll be with you in a little bit or anything. I'll go to any other Safeway but this one in the future. Even if I don't receive a response from this store, at least other shoppers can beware.

The employee said they were new, but I paid $85 for just three flowers, so I expected a better level of service for that price. In my opinion, people only go there because there aren’t many alternatives in Mountain House. I honestly think that if another grocery store opened here, Safeway would lose most of its customers.
