I've been to this El Pollo loco a handful of times and each time I go there I'm never quite satisfied unlike the many other locations I frequent. I ordered a family meal on my app and went through the drive-thru to pick the meal up. I explained I had an app order and gave my name. When we drove up to the window, a lady had our food in her hands. She started speaking Spanish to us and we didn't understand. When we told her that, she turned around, put our food down and started saying something to another employee who was helping customers at the counter. After finishing with her customers, she asked what our order was, I repeated our order and she rang it up and asked for the amount. I repeated it was an app order and I already paid and showed her my phone. She then picked up our food and said, "oh this is your order, what happened?" We told her we don't know. The employee started speaking to us in Spanish, we told her we do not speak Spanish and she took our food and just left. The employee said, "oh, she only speaks Spanish, and you don't so that's the problem." That was really confusing on why they had an employee work the drive-thru window who only spoke Spanish and the other employee insinuating we were the problem for not speaking Spanish. Management team, if your requirement is that El Pollo Loco customers need to speak Spanish to order from there, please advertise as so for this location, so I will skip this one and go to another location. Thank you.
