  It's always good here. There food is extra tasty, the restaurant is clean and the employees are very friendly and polite. You can get special deals on the app. I love this place. The crispy chicken tacos are the best.

  The employees were great.The restaurant is clean and great environment. This new enchilada bowl was disgusting. I purchased both the red and green sauce bowls and they were just terrible. It’s not the cook’s fault, it’s the ingredients/sauce that they have to use. I am highly disappointed with this purchase. Pollo Loco, please fix this issue

  I am a regular customer at this location in Hawthorne most of the times i drive through it! And i usually get four pieces leg and thighs rice and beans no tortillas 4-5 mild salsas and I always ask for JUICY chicken how ever from time to time i give them the benefit of the doubt and don’t ask for juicy chicken when I place my order either at the drive through or inside and of course I regret when I don’t ask for JUICY chicken cus all the time when I don’t guess what? I get that old dry chicken that has been sitting there for good who knows couple of hours or so and that was not the exception tonight I went inside order my usual 4 piece and since I didn’t ask for juicy chicken they gave me whatever they wanted to ! So I was really disappointed for the fact that why do I have to always ask for juicy chicken when I am paying $16 for a decent meal dinner which I did not even cus honestly enjoyed the chicken was dry! that Is really frustrating and I only ate it cus I was super exhausted to go back and create a more unpleasant situation by going to the restaurant and make a complaint and make the manager or supervisor embarrassed is not what I want all I want is a decent juicy chicken meal after a long day at work! I guess even though I notice by their tone of voices when I order they get bothered whenever I ask for JUICY chicken I will have to always ask for it to be Juicy cus other wise I will regret it! I know it might not have been their fault it could’ve been mine for not asking and give them the benefit of the doubt! Now I know !

  Finally got the chance to eat here after years of hearing stories from my family who lived out west while I've only been on the east coast. Very worth the trip. Food was delicious!! I tried a little bit of my whole party's food, but my favorite was the loaded quesadilla. Staff were friendly and accommodating, as I am disabled. Someone needs to send EPL to the east coast. I'm going to miss it too badly when I go home.

  ⭐️ First time at this location—and unfortunately, my last. I had an online $3.00 off coupon from completing a previous survey. When I went to use it, the cashier told me he couldn’t apply it. I politely asked if he could please ask the manager for assistance. Instead, he told me, “She wouldn’t give you the $3.00 off.” I was spending approximately $45 on lunch, so I didn’t understand why they couldn’t simply check with the manager and see if there was anything they could do. The manager eventually came to the window and told me she wasn’t able to give me the $3.00 off, but then said she would give it to me because I was holding up her line. Honestly, it wasn’t the $3.00—it was how the situation was handled and the way I was made to feel like an inconvenience for simply asking about a valid offer. Customer service should be about helping customers, especially when they are spending $45 on a meal. Unfortunately, this experience left a bad impression, and I won’t be returning to this location. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on providing better customer service.
