Now to the chicken, it was so overcooked that the skin cut my mouth, when i took the skin off the chicken was awful - dry and shrunken. So i decide to call and give the manager a heads up. The recording said that they valued me but after pressing #8 for customer service, I gave up after 9 minutes. The good news is that went down the street to Stater Bros. WOW, what a difference. Don't stop at Vons, keep going, they don't care and they can prove it.

The self-checkout is a mess, and the employee assigned to help customers was standing in the middle of the area having a long conversation with someone holding a dog instead of assisting anyone. When I finally asked for help, I was passed off to Briana, who was extremely rude. I had perishable groceries, and they were handling my bags with unwashed hands after petting a dog, which is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, I was overcharged $61 for items I didn’t even purchase. When I requested a refund, I was met with eye rolls and dirty looks instead of any attempt to fix the situation professionally. This experience was frustrating, unsanitary, and handled poorly from start to finish. I will not be shopping at this store again
