  Tonight I came into Vons about 10 minutes before closing. I grabbed what I needed and got in line behind a customer who was being very difficult and making the checkout process take much longer than necessary. I wanted to recognize your cashier, Lauro. He handled the situation with incredible patience, professionalism, and respect the entire time. Even though the delay wasn’t his fault, he still apologized to me for the wait, which wasn’t necessary but showed the kind of customer service that’s becoming harder to find. Employees like Lauro are a credit to your company. I hope he receives the recognition he deserves because he turned what could have been a frustrating experience into a positive one. Great job, Vons, for having team members like him.

  Canyon Country, CA Location : The store looked in disarray. 5 of 9 Cottage Cheese containers were out of date (listing "Use By" dates all the way back in JUNE)... not good. 3 refrigerated shelves of Milk were completely EMPTY... not good. On the CHIPS aisle there were a total of 22 TAGS that listed promotional pricing that had expired 3 DAYS PRIOR... not good. Don't know what happened to this store. Someone in charge is clearly asleep at the wheel.

  Would give this place ZERO stars if I could was told by manager, Ruth "That's why your face is the way it is." I have a physical deformity on my face this statement was humiliating as she yelled this across the store. She was at the counter at self checkout and I was all the way at the cold box as she shouted this. Shame on Ruth and this store for hiring someone who is discriminatory towards people with deformities they can not help IN RESPONSE TO OWNER COMMENT: how many more times can I provide my phone number? I called corporate yesterday as well as my husband and each time provided our number and never revived a call as promised. Circled back again today spoke with Store Manager Erica provided my number again and called corporate again about 9ish AM and was told I would receive a call in the next thirty minutes provided my number for now the fourth time so when I received no call my husband called about 1PM and now provided our phone number for now the fifth time and again no call…. So I’ll entertain you request and now provide my phone number for a sixth time 👍 TUESDAY 06/30: provided my name, phone number and email to corporate for now the 7TH TIME at 12:06PM the call was disconnected and told by Neil I would receive a call on 30-40 minutes it is 1:24PM and I never received a call back. Emailed CEO Susan Morris directly and commented on LinkedIn and received zero response and zero accountability, apology or action. Great way to show your motto : “Friendly neighborhood store” is completely False
