Good food. Zero ambiance. Zero service. Excellent aloo paratha. Avoid the pav bhaji.

This used to be one of our absolute favorite places in the Bay Area. honestly, the best place to get an authentic taste of Delhi outside of India. We always knew the prices were on the higher side, but we never minded paying a premium because the quality used to justify it. Not anymore. We went back recently and ordered the bread pakoda and chole bhatura and chole puri. It was a massive letdown. The chana tasted off, almost like it had some kind of chemical aftertaste, and bhatura was swimming in so much excessive oil that it was completely inedible. My wife couldn't even take more than a bite. This place has gone downhill like crazy. It feels like management is completely focused on maximizing profits now rather than maintaining the standard that made them popular. To make matters worse, even though they are now a full-fledged restaurant charging premium prices, they still serve everything in disposable containers for dine-in. It reminds me of their old food truck days. At these price points, it just feels cheap and makes no sense. We won't be coming back again. Hopefully, they either listen to feedback and fix the taste, or change management to bring back the original quality. Total waste of money.
