  Seems to be quick painless tip anytime I go. I like the deli/hot food area. Their salad's are just right for me, the proportions are good. The store is kept fairly clean and well stocked.

  The products are good, but it seems more like a Walmart than a Safeway at this point. Half the items are locked up and you have to go to check out and ask someone to open the cabinets for you. I’d rather pay Walmart prices for a Walmart service than Safeway prices for Walmart service. I remember this store used to be the “nice” Safeway in town. And now I’d rather drive farther to Walmart for the same service at lower costs.

  Not only is it very pricey compared to other store but the amount of effort shows bought this at the bakery and the fact that the man offered to put happy birthday and the name so we are thinking this guy knows what he is doing and then bring back this super effortless writing and still says is this ok 😒 I honestly didn’t know what to say. And please remove your WIC sign from outside if you don’t have anything labeled with WIC on the inside thank you. And label your fruits and vegetables please I don’t want to pay $10 for 5 potatoes just because they are in a fancy bad.what a mess it keeps getting worse every time I go.

  My mom placed an order for chicken in person several days before our event. The day of our order she is told at the deli they did not have her order ticket and our chicken was not ready. She was completely embarrassed at the fact that she had a paid for receipt and that the only thing they were willing to do for her was to either cancel the order, or for her to wait an hour. No options for compensation or proper time resolution. My mom was so embarrassed and frustrated. We needed the chicken because again we had an event. She went back an hour later, chicken was indeed ready but there was still no apology or compensation on their end for the order inconvenience. Leon the manager made my mom feel less than by blowing off her frustrations as a customer. Sadly Safeway has honestly really gone down hill and has lost us as customers now.

  I stopped by the seafood counter around 7:30 PM yesterday and waited about 5 minutes. When no one came out, I rang the bell. Even though I could hear someone in the back, no one responded. After another 5 minutes, I rang the bell again, and someone called back with an irritated tone. I waited an additional 10 minutes before the staff member finally came out, only to tell me that he was closing in 7 minutes and was just covering for someone else. Overall, the service was very poor and disappointing.
