I walked up to Safeway to throw trash away and was going to walk in after to purchase some food. As I was walking to throw the trash away Stephanie came up to me being very vulgar and hostile saying STOP THROWING TRASH IN OUR TRASH CAN you see all these people here they are always throwing trash in our trash can yelling at me. I am sorry but I am not everyone and I am a customer I needed to throw my trash away… I told her this is a trash can I have trash and I’m coming in to purchase something. She said I don’t care throwing f bombs everywhere telling me I’m a low life and to find another trash can and she said that she wrote my license plate down and is calling the police… I told her not to worry and that I would call the police for her and I did. They came and told me I was perfectly fine. it sounds she is just a bit lazy, maybe woke up on the wrong side of the bed and doesn’t want to take the trash out a job she is getting payed for.. as an employee, it was extremely unprofessional. I did not go into purchase my food after that as I felt extremely uncomfortable. As a new person living in Tahoe it just made me sad. I spoke with the daytime manager and he said she was completely out of line for this and that I can continue to do whatever I needed to do and that he told her to leave me alone I’m not one to leave a review but I have never been approached by someone in that manner and I believe someone needs to handle this. Thank you. The rest of the staff at this property is absolutely amazing I just wanted to notate that as well. I will be contacting corporate as well. If this review gets taken down I will repeatedly post it thank you
