After several visits, this still feels like one of the better Panera locations I’ve been to, though my first impression of the cleanliness was probably stronger than the day-to-day reality.
It feels like one of the newer Paneras in the area, and the space itself has a lot going for it. There is plenty of seating, large windows that make the dining room bright, and usually enough parking despite the somewhat industrial surroundings and neighboring businesses. It attracts quite a few people with laptops, and during the week especially it can be a comfortable place to sit, read, study, or work for a while.
Cleanliness, however, varies noticeably depending on the day, shift, and how busy it is. I’ve been here when the dining area looked almost spotless, with staff actively wiping tables, cleaning chairs, clearing trays, and even vacuuming. On other visits, especially busier weekend afternoons, I’ve seen crumbs, food debris, paper and straw wrappers on the floor, dirty floor marks, and tables left with trays, food, or spilled liquid long enough that you may need to clear a space yourself.
To be fair, I have also seen staff catch up later when the rush dies down, including wiping tables and mopping the floor. So the issue is not that the location never gets cleaned. It is that the timing and consistency of cleaning passes can vary a lot. On a good day, this can look like one of the cleaner Paneras I visit. On a busier or less-attended day, the difference is noticeable.
The staff I’ve interacted with have generally been friendly and pleasant. They are polite and tend to leave you alone if you are sitting for a while, which I appreciate. Service has been fine overall, although the energy can vary somewhat from shift to shift.
Some of the features that make this location appealing for longer visits have also become less reliable. Several of the wall-booth outlets do not seem to work, which pushes laptop users toward the remaining working outlets and makes the seating less flexible. Facility upkeep has been similarly inconsistent. Across different visits, I’ve encountered a closed men’s restroom without a clear posted update, restrooms that could have used more attention, empty napkin dispensers, and paper towels being out. None of these issues has been constant, but more consistent attention to the dining room, restrooms, outlets, and supplies would make a noticeable difference.
I’m part of the Sip Club, so most of my visits have been for drinks. The coffee has generally been fine, though on one visit it was noticeably less hot than usual, and decaf can run out later in the afternoon. I’ve also had a bagel here, which was well toasted and consistent with what I’d expect from Panera.
Overall, this is still a very usable Panera with a bright interior, plenty of seating, generally friendly staff, and real potential as a place to spend some time. Its biggest weakness is consistency. When the dining room and facilities are being actively maintained, it is one of the more comfortable Paneras I’ve visited. When they are not, the difference is surprisingly noticeable.
