As Sonoma locals, we’ve had the pleasure of dining at Wit & Wisdom many times before, but our most recent visit was truly exceptional; and a big part of that was the people. First, I have to recognize Ken behind the bar. We watched him navigate an incredibly difficult customer situation with such patience, professionalism, grace, and composure. The customers were, frankly, awful, and Ken never lost his cool or his professionalism for even a moment. Watching someone handle that kind of situation so beautifully says a LOT about the quality of a restaurant and the people who represent it. Bravo to Ken for navigating that. Chichi also stopped by to greet us, and it was such a lovely personal touch. She remembered us as locals and even remembered that our daughter was in the wine industry and had done an educational tasting for Three Sticks several years ago. That kind of genuine recognition and hospitality is something you don’t forget. Thanks to Chichi for the lovely visit. And then there was our server, “Lambie,” who was absolutely fabulous. I was disappointed that the MINA Reserve Caviar had become a seasonal offering and wasn’t currently on the regular menu. When I mentioned it, Lambie went above and beyond: She checked with the chef, who happened to have a half-ounce available and was willing to prepare a special setup for me. That was incredibly thoughtful and absolutely not something they had to do. Thank you, Lambie, and thank you to the chef for making that happen! You made my night (after a very rough day)! And yes, the food was fantastic. My husband had the mortadella and pistachio pesto pizza, cooked to absolute perfection and topped with fresh arugula, along with an Old Fashioned that was exactly as it should be: stiff, delicious, and beautifully made. But the dessert… oh my goodness. We shared the brûléed Basque cheesecake, and I honestly think it may have been one of the best desserts I’ve ever had in my life AND I do NOT say that lightly: We are a family that takes dessert very seriously. 😂 What really stood out, though, was that the evening felt like so much more than a good meal. It was warm, personal, professional, and genuinely hospitable. Every interaction made us feel like welcomed guests rather than just another table - thank you all for that! Wit & Wisdom, you have an incredible team. The food is wonderful, but it’s the people who turn a wonderful dinner into an outstanding experience. Ken, Chichi, Lambie, and the incredibly accommodating chef - thank you for a memorable evening. We’ll absolutely be back soon! ❤️

The manager Chichi is always so welcoming and wonderful! The server Kyle was amazing and recommended the truffle pasta which was right up my alley, since I love anything truffle flavored!
