We were very excited to try this place for a date night. The menu looked really good and we were hoping for a great burger - they delivered on the great burger, but that’s about it. The caesar salad was a really small portion for the price, and the dressing tasted like it was out of a bottle.
I was most disappointed by my short rib ravioli, as they said the pastas were all handmade. Maybe they were, but my main dish, which I think was $40+, contained literally four pieces of small-sized ravioli. It just felt like a rip off. Oh - and fries were $14-18 for a side! I think we would only come back to get the burger.
I can say with full confidence that this is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to recently. There was Valet parking in the front, which was very convenient. We ordered many things, but my favorite was the squash blossoms, which were incredible, oysters were fantastic As for dinner, our table ordered the duck, which is wonderful if you enjoy Duck, The New York bone in steak melted in your mouth and we also ordered two Bronzino‘s one was fried and one was not. They were both fantastic and the presentation is really good as for dessert we had tiramisu which is made, and I forgot to mention the bread, the bread was great personally we will be back and will make this a regular staple honestly nothing bad I can say about this place oh and the owners were so nice. They really know what they’re doing hats off to the chefs as well.

I've been going to Wood & Water for many years, and it was a monthly staple for my fiancé and me. Since the change in ownership, the restaurant feels completely different. The new décor has stripped away much of the rustic character that made the name "Wood & Water" fit so well. The wood tables are now covered with white tablecloths, giving it the feel of a generic upscale restaurant rather than the place many longtime customers came to love.
What disappointed me even more was that when I shared this opinion on the restaurant's Facebook page, my comment was removed within minutes. Customers should be able to respectfully express their thoughts, especially those who have supported a business for years.
Any restaurant under new ownership is free to make changes, but longtime patrons should be allowed to voice their reactions without having those comments immediately deleted. Constructive feedback is part of running a business, and listening to customers, even when you disagree with them, can be valuable.

Dining at Wood and Water was a great experience, especially if you appreciate elevated comfort food done right. While the menu offers a range of upscale dishes, the burger truly stood out.
Perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful, the burger strikes that ideal balance between juicy and well-seasoned. The quality of the meat is immediately noticeable. I paired it with an Italian Peroni, which was the perfect choice. It's light, crisp, and refreshing, cutting through the richness of the burger and elevating the overall meal.
The ambiance of the restaurant adds to the experience, stylish yet relaxed, making it a great spot whether you're going out for a casual dinner or something a bit more special. Service was attentive and polished, rounding out the meal nicely.
What really elevated the night was the live jazz in the background. It added a smooth, sophisticated atmosphere that made the whole experience feel even more upscale and memorable.
