While some things have changed over the last few decades, El Pollo Loco's delivery of fresh, authentic food has not. Everything starts with whole chickens that are slowly marinated in a special recipe of herbs, spices, fruit juices and garlic. The chicken is then expertly fire-grilled to perfection the authentic way - on our signature open-flame grills - then hand cut into your favorite Mexican entrees. We put that same dedication and care into our handmade guacamole, salsas and dressings every day. At El Pollo Loco in Sherman Oaks,CA, we believe that when real food meets real fire the result is great taste that will keep you coming back again and again.

- SPSarkis Payaslyan2 days ago1.0Very disappointing experience and extremely poor service. There appeared to be about seven employees working, yet most of them were in the back while only one person was left up front trying to serve everyone. Customers were waiting in line with no one available to help at the register, and prepared food was being left unattended on the shelves getting cold. I was in the restaurant for approximately 45 minutes trying to redeem my points at the kiosk and could not get anyone to assist me. Several employees also seemed to have a poor attitude and were not interested in helping customers. Overall, the service was extremely unorganized and unprofessional. With that many employees working, customers should not be left waiting this long or struggling to get basic assistance. Management really needs to address the customer service, employee attitude, and organization at this location.

- LGLucia GonzalezSep 15, 20265.0Amazing customer service! Every time I come in cristal always greets me with a big smile! They finally have someone who is happy to help on the kiosk! She was very fast taking out the orders even when there is a rush and has never missed an item and is happy to give me extra sauces when I ask for them! Thank you Cristal for always being so kind!
- PNPatricia NoriegaSep 15, 20265.0The salsa is absolutely incredible! I’m Latina, and when I tell you it tastes as good as the salsa from a great taquería I mean it! 🌶️🔥 Delicious! I can’t recommend El Pollo Loco enough. No matter which location you visit, you can count on a great meal. They have so many new menu items, too, making it the perfect place to enjoy lunch with family, friends, or even by yourself. For me, it’s usually a fun outing with my Daisy Dukes and the two newest members of our family, Coco and Chanel! 🐶🐶🐶❤️
