- MAMir Ali2 days ago5.0After a long drive , we needed some excellent dinner. Excellent food , very busy place, very popular looks like. We didn’t have to wait too long for a table. Food was excellent.

The sushi was not prepared well, too big and the rice was falling apart. The salad was okay but the dressing was too sweet. And all the food was served to us within 5 minutes. It should have been spaced out better.

Salad was downing in dressing. I feel for places like this, because at this price point and location, it's got to be hard to do business. Wife had some sushi rolls. The sushi is better across the street at Sushi-Time. Hibachi is better at Sapporo (Benihana clone) over by the pier, for roughly the same price point. If you don't want the show of Sapporo, then this is acceptable. Place was empty on a Monday night at 6pm. Bill for 2 was +$75 plus tip. Didn't have any alcohol beverages. May be better for lunch, but still pricy for the whole package. At $50-$60 pre tip, can make sense. Not at current price points for dinner. There are better options, IMHO.
