  I am banned from this vons randomly and for no reason. They treat me as if I am less than human.

  I would like to express my concern regarding the behavior of an employee named Gwen at your store. While I was waiting at the Pokémon card vending machine, Gwen was standing at the machine purchasing cards. There were other customers waiting behind her, ready to make their own purchases once she was finished. During this time, Gwen appeared to be mumbling comments such as “yeah, yeah, yeah, blah, blah, blah” while other customers were waiting. After completing part of her purchase and already having Pokémon card packs in her hand, she continued standing in front of the machine, preventing other customers from accessing it and taking their turn. When additional Pokémon card packs became available in the machine, rather than allowing waiting customers an opportunity to purchase them, Gwen immediately purchased the remaining available packs herself. This behavior created the appearance that an employee was using her position to gain an unfair advantage over customers and prevented others from having a reasonable opportunity to purchase the product. I found this conduct unprofessional and inappropriate, particularly given that customers were visibly waiting for their turn. Employees should set an example of respectful customer service and fair access to products, especially for items that are in high demand. I would appreciate it if this matter could be reviewed and addressed to ensure all customers are treated fairly and respectfully in the future. Thank you for your time and attention to this concern.

  I am very disappointed in this store. The casher Yvette was the only line open. This line went half way down the row. It also seems like she was more interested in what was on her phone then ringing customers out. The customer service is horrible, only 1 register line open and no cashers on staff to help. It seems the employees are on their phones instead of working. The cart pushers are the same.

  Had a great experience at Vons in Santee. The store was very clean, well organized, and easy to navigate. Even though it was fairly busy during my visit, the store was well staffed and everything moved efficiently. The cashier was very friendly, and the associate helping with bagging was equally pleasant and helpful. The parking lot is spacious, making it easy to get in and out without any hassle. As a bonus, I picked up the mushroom stuffed chicken from the meat department and it was absolutely delicious—very flavorful and easy to prepare. Definitely something I’ll be purchasing again. Overall, a convenient and enjoyable shopping experience. I’ll definitely be back!

  They keep stock of expired products even after being told. I've also repeatedly purchased products that should be refrigerated that must have been sitting outside too long prior to being stocked. Staff has also been a toss up on politeness which isnt as big of a deal to me as the unfortunate consistency of the former complaints.
