This particular location needs a serious overhaul and I shouldn't have bought food there. I immediately noticed the store is overstocked with cold case items and many looked in poor condition. I made my way over to the hotcase and all the food was petrified and should have been tossed an hr ago. I grabbed some potatoes, reality not really sinking in. I grabbed a few other items and had to pass up what was on the front of the shelf for me recent stocked items to get fresh food. Still just hungry and willing to make the best of a bad situation I see some fish roe and grab a jar...... from a massively overpacked case that probably isn't temping right. I get home a see after I've already had my first bite that the roe has thick slimy strings coming from it even though it is in date. I called the meat department and interestingly enough I'm lied to about how many are left on the shelf as he pretends to check on the "last jar". Which of course is fine. I'm calling the health department and I'm going to have them go over your store from top to bottom since you employ people that lie on reflex and are presenting the public with a refrigerated dumpster to eat from. That's a disorder with no treatment and people like that should not work with perishable food items.

This Safeway has turned into a PIT BULL dog park. On 2 occasions I have been shopping when someone stuck their PIT BULLS in my face. I have been attacked by this breed and would NEVER want one near me. Luckily, the first guy had the common sense to pull the dog away. The second time, a lady had a PIT on a long leash and REFUSED to pull the dog back to let me by. 536 Americans have been killed by this breed. Homeowners insurance NOR renters insurance will cover this breed on a policy. I look forward to seeing a "blood bath" inside this Safeway store because they refuse to deal with the problem. Shop here at your own risk!!!!

Safeway always has great service, along with a bright and clean store. Usually some of the best produce out of all the grocery store chains. If only their prices were more, let's say, "economically correct". If only...

Not customer friendly. Bathrooms locked. Multiple aisles with every single thing down the whole aisle locked behind glass. The whole aisles! Multiple aisles. Barriers to keep you from taking your shopping cart to your car. Only one exit even if you came in another entrance. Lots of litter and something disgusting that looks like it’s been there a while by the right exit. All presumably based on theft losses or whatever but if you’re in a car there are lots of grocery stores available to you. Pick a different one.
