- TBTamara BernardJul 25, 20263.0I've been going to this Safeway for a few years, and unfortunately will be switching to another store, likely not a Safeway. The products and groceries are great, I like the layout, and it never feels too crowded. However, I've had one too many encounters with extremely rude workers. Rubyrose is one of the checkers who is often there when I shopped and she is the main reason I'm leaving. I have heard her multiple times make negative comments about customers, converse with other workers instead of focusing on checking groceries, and is just overall rude. There are other workers (in my experience in the deli and bakery) that are similarly grouchy and act like helping me is a huge bother for them. It's a shame because about half of the workers are incredibly friendly and helpful! The negative experiences I've had with the disrespectful ones just outweigh this. Maybe the workers need some customer service training!

When I complained about it I was told there was nothing to be done, You sell food in this store. Why should a dog be allowed in the carts where I put my food. Unacceptable. The dog was obviously not spending money, but I was. I will not be back.

I.E. a pound of bacon was wadded up in a cheap plastic bag and sloppily wrapped in paper. When I asked for it to be wrapped flat he looked at me as if he didn't have the slightest clue. C'mon. This isn't rocket science. Not the 1st time with this experience. They don't seem to grasp how to wrap meat in an intelligent manner
