  For the price and the service I wouldn't say this place is worth it. We waited over 45 minutes for our food even though it wasnt busy at all. Food was ok, came with the basics but anything extra cost you way more than it was worth like sour cream or guacamole. The restaurant has a nice location and interior, maybe just a little more time to really develop a method for getting food out faster and a change in menus so patrons aren't paying $70 for plain tacos, carnitas resecas, and a quesadilla.

  Stopped by Cochina 1912 in Santa Paula for the first time and this place has a great vibe. Right on Main Street in a historic building from 1912, you can feel that old-school charm with the exposed red brick and clean, cool interior. Ordered a big bowl of posole — seriously a huge portion and packed with flavor. Couldn’t even finish it, but it was on point. The chips and salsa were solid, and they’ve got a whole lineup of hot sauces. Tried them all — mild, medium, hot, extra hot — and honestly the mild ended up being my favorite. Still full of flavor without overpowering everything else. Downtown Santa Paula keeps getting better with spots like this popping up. Definitely a chill place to hang out and grab a good meal.   Loooooooove it this is an awesome place with awesome people, and awesome food!!!🤪🤪🤪. I didn’t get my chorizo con papas tacos. Instead I got bean taquitos. But everything was delicious.
