  I used to goto the Wallys in Beverly Hills but this was our first time at this one. We just popped in on a Friday night because Hillstone was booked. I’m glad we did. Gerardo, our waiter, was awesome. The food and drinks came out FAST. To start we got the sugar snap peas, the tuna salad and one other salad with blue cheese. It was all good. For dinner I had a piece of salmon with a Caesar salad and fries. That was all just ok! Could've been better. My husband loved his loup de mar. Next time I think I will get the truffle pizza. I used to get their pizzas and they’re always great. The waiter even overheard it was my husband’s bday and brought him a complimentary dessert. So so kind and thoughtful. This place would be 5 stars if the food was just a liiiiiiiitttttle better. The staff is awesome; very sweet hostess and great timing on serving. Still very worth the visit.

  Uneducated and very unprofessional. Avoid this place at all costs, the manager approaches people filming from a public sidewalk which is 100% illegal and calls their security department in, violates their first amendment of freedom of the press. Avoid this place very unprofessional

  I was visiting Angeles, specifically Santa Monica recently for a week. I planned a dinner with old friends and had little time to find a table for 8. Wally’s took my reservation immediately. Dinner was outstanding. I am a chef and I travel all over the country trying various cuisines and experiencing many culinary settings. The Wallys feel and experience was notable. The staff friendly and in good spirits. The ceviche was fresh and a beautiful orange color. The lambchop OMG was one of the best I’ve ever had. Cooks. Medium successfully. The pizza with truffles had real truffles on top! Then there was the dish wound blue cheese and this jammy sweet and buttery toasted baguette. Words cannot describe our love of the way it was constructed. I highly recommend Wally’s in Santa Monica.

  My time here with my fiance was very enjoyable. Great service, food and ambiance. Nick provided great service and offered great service and talks of what was going on around the city. Over all I would reccomend and will be back soon.

  Wally’s Santa Monica is such a fantastic spot! The atmosphere is beautiful—upscale and sophisticated, but still lively and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious (baked Brie with truffles is a MUST TRY!), beautifully presented, and you can really tell they use high-quality ingredients (wagyu burger is soooo yum). The wine selection is incredible, and the staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and made the entire experience feel special. I especially loved the unique combination of a fine dining restaurant and an amazing wine and gourmet market. It gives the place so much character and makes it feel different from your typical Santa Monica restaurant. Everything from the ambiance to the service and food was excellent. Perfect for a date night, dinner with friends, or a special occasion. Definitely one of those places you look forward to coming back to. Highly recommend!
