Please check your receipts carefully. I have noticed that, on some items, the price charged at checkout is higher than the price shown on the shelf tag. When I pointed this out to an employee and later mentioned it to someone at the front of the store, no one seemed to address the issue or correct it. I was simply looked at with arrogance and treated with rudeness as if I am an idiot, and nothing was done. This is very concerning because customers should be able to rely on the prices displayed on the shelf. If the register consistently charges more than the advertised price, that is unfair and misleading. From my experience, the price for some products has always been higher at checkout—not lower. It also appears that other customers have raised similar concerns about inconsistent shelf tags. If this is happening repeatedly, shouldn’t the store take steps to correct it? I have a genuine question: if stores call the police when someone intentionally pays less than the correct price, shouldn’t there also be accountability when customers are charged more than the advertised price? I’m asking this as a question because I don’t know how the law treats these situations. Because of these repeated inconsistencies, I honestly don’t feel I can continue shopping at this store. I can’t rely on the shelf tags to know what I’ll actually be charged at checkout. Customers shouldn’t have to double-check every item because they’re worried the register price will be higher than the advertised price. This is simply a friendly suggestion to Vons and Albertsons. Please review and update the shelf pricing so that it matches the register prices. Doing so would improve customer trust, prevent unnecessary frustration, and encourage customers like me to continue shopping there. Thank you

The employees are very unfriendly, and the overall atmosphere is extremely and unbelievably unwelcoming. They seemed to dislike being asked questions or helping customers. This store also has the lowest rating I’ve seen compared to other stores, and after my experience, I can understand why. I’ll be shopping somewhere else—there are plenty of other places to choose from.

I normally like this store but you have to upgrade your special price stickers, is not nice to find out at checkout the price is higher than it’s posted, and the lady that “helped us” wasn’t so much help at all.

It's a Vons supermarket. It's big, well organized and clean. Has a deli, bakery, and Starbucks.

I’ve been shopping at this store for years, but over time I’ve become disappointed for a few reasons. First, the overall atmosphere just doesn’t feel welcoming anymore. In my opinion, many of the cashiers, such as Nelie and Adriana, I believe their names are, and the manager, Cesar, seem angry, unhappy, and like they can’t wait for their shift to end. At times, they also come across as dismissive, disrespectful, and demeaning toward customers. Of course, that’s just my impression, but it doesn’t create a friendly shopping experience. Another thing that really bothered me was hearing a cashier named Nelie make a disapproving remark in a disapproving tone about another customer while people were standing in line. I found that unprofessional. This store depends on its customers, and no customer should overhear employees make a disapproving or judgmental-sounding comment about other customers. Nobody is perfect, and customers deserve to be treated with respect. The second issue is the member pricing. More than once, I’ve entered my phone number, the shelf clearly showed a lower member price, but I was still charged the regular price, , as another reviewer mentioned. That’s frustrating and shouldn’t happen. Because of these experiences, I’ve decided to switch to Trader Joe’s and Stater Bros. Since I started shopping there, I’ve also noticed that the prices are actually lower, which has been another pleasant surprise. For all of these reasons, I’ve decided to shop elsewhere. At Trader Joe’s, the employees are consistently friendly, greet customers with a smile, and make you feel welcome. This is only my personal opinion, and I mean it as constructive feedback, not criticism. I hope management will consider making a few improvements: create a friendlier atmosphere, put customers first, make sure the advertised member prices are honored at checkout, and remember that good customer service is what keeps people coming back. I’d like to see this store succeed and keep its longtime customers. As someone who used to spend a lot of money at this store every week, I’m now taking my business elsewhere. I sincerely hope they make these improvements, because I’d like to see them succeed and keep their longtime customers.
