I just did self check out & finished my grocery shopping there about 15 mins ago. As I’m walking out of the store to put the shopping cart away, the lady in charge of self check out stares at me & says “Hey, you know you’re on camera”. I used the self check out kiosk that was closest to where this lady was sitting the whole time, I was merely a few feet from her the entire time. I’m really baffled that she accused me of stealing when she knows good & well that I did no such thing. She even asked if I had a receipt. I told her that I do have a receipt & I’d be happy to show it to her if she would have just given me a second to get it out of my bag. But instead, not only does she walk away as if she did nothing wrong before I could prove my innocence, she doesn’t even so much as apologize to me for the inconvenience/misunderstanding. I understand that you guys have a store to protect, however when someone is falsely accused of something that they didn’t do, at the very least have the decency to take accountability & apologize for the mistake. As I mentioned at the start of this review, I shop there every week. I’ve never been treated like this before. Usually whenever I need help finding something, there’s always someone there to help which is why I’m even more baffled by what happened to me at your store today. It’s bad enough that I was falsely accused of something, however, for the lady that accused me to not even so much as apologize makes this incident even worse. Something needs to be done about this immediately.
