My wife and I visited on 7/20/26. When we arrived, we were told there would be about a 10-minute wait, which was completely fine. The hostess was very friendly and offered us seats at the bar while we waited.
Unfortunately, that's where the experience started to go downhill. We sat at the bar for quite a while, and none of the bartenders acknowledged either of us. It wasn't busy, and I watched other guests receive service while we were completely overlooked. I eventually had to get up and ask a bartender for a menu. I've never had to do that at any restaurant or bar. Even if you're busy, a simple "We'll be right with you" goes a long way. Being ignored made us feel unwelcome.
Once we were seated, we again waited longer than expected before anyone came to the table. Eventually, the busser stopped by, and we asked him for menus. Shortly afterward, our waitress arrived. She was very friendly, attentive, and professional, and the food was excellent.
I had heard so many great things about Mastro's, so I came in with high expectations. While the quality of the food lived up to the reputation, the inconsistent service made the overall experience feel underwhelming. I hope management addresses this, because a restaurant at this level should provide attentive service from the moment guests walk through the door.

Today was the last time we would go until everything improves….
This used to be our The Place for steaks and all the delicious appetizers and sides.
Today… whatever could go wrong almost everything went wrong… their front service was… sloppy and disastrous… they were lucky they weren’t trying to get their Michelin star. They would fail miserably.
Bread service-they asked anything we would like specifically but they didn’t bring accordingly. What happened?
They suggested we can get half size of sides.. we did.. they came out wrong… ok but it’s fixable and they fixed.
We ordered rack of lamb medium rare…
It’s completely under seasoned from salt, pepper and rosemary…
There was not pepper service like they usually do…
Lots of severs… but most standing… not sure what to do… our stable is right by them.
My water cup was empty for about 15 min… why no one is paying attention to find opportunities to keep their service at top notch level as what they used to be?
High turnover? Management change?
Lack of training?
A server even bumped my guest’s chair… I was so embarrassed 😞 for Mastro’s

I went to Mastro’s for an early Sunday dinner and had a great experience! We ordered the 8 oz filet mignon, A5 Wagyu beef roll, and shared the white cheddar mac & cheese, sautéed corn, and broccolini.
The Wagyu beef roll was unique and flavorful, and the filet mignon was juicy, tender, and the perfect portion size. The sides are large enough to share. The mac & cheese was delicious but very rich and heavy, so I recommend balancing one richer side with lighter options like the corn and broccolini, which were both surprisingly flavorful.
Service and ambiance were great. We walked in casually dressed for an early Sunday dinner and were seated right away without a reservation. Everything is definitely pricey, so I’d recommend Mastro’s for a special occasion or when you want to splurge!

We had a really great dinner at Mastro’s on Saturday night.
The atmosphere was great, and the live music made the evening even more enjoyable. It created a nice vibe without being too loud, so it was still easy to have a conversation.
We started with the bread basket, which was warm and delicious. The Ahi Tuna Tartare was probably my favorite appetizer, and the Beef Carpaccio was fresh, flavorful, and paired really well with the arugula and Parmesan.
The Filet Mignon was so good that I completely forgot to take a picture before it disappeared. 😄 It was cooked exactly as ordered and incredibly tender.
The cocktails were excellent too, especially the Monkey Business, easily one of the best cocktails I’ve had in a long time. Definitely worth ordering.
The service was friendly and attentive throughout the evening, and everything came out at a good pace without feeling rushed.
Overall, it was just a really enjoyable dinner. Great food, great drinks, live music, and a relaxing atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back.
