I told him I thought I had ordered a blizzard w/chocolate ice cream (s’mores), but received vanilla instead. He decided he needed to argue with me rather than make an attempt to resolve the situation. At one point, I even said, “I may have ordered vanilla on accident.” His attitude was horrible the entire time I was talking with him. He kept saying they shouldn’t take the loss. Plus, he also had his AirPods in, which made the interaction with him even more frustrating. The tip of the iceberg was when he told me, “I know you’re lying!” All I tried to do was explain there was a mixup with my order (an order that was over $36 for 3 blizzards!). He said I could buy 2 new blizzards, but they would NOT remake my order for free, which I replied with, “you want me to spend over $50 to get the Blizzards I came in here for!??” I was completely baffled, so at this point I was getting heated and decided to ask for a refund. He immediately walked around the corner with both my Blizzards in hand & dropped them into the garbage (like it gave him pleasure to deny me of what I had originally wanted)! After all this, I asked for the manager, to which he replied, “That’s me.” I did NOT believe him because he had a terrible attitude & in my opinion, he was too young. While he reached into the register to give me a cash refund for my two Blizzards, I said. “I’m a teacher…Do you really think I’m trying to rip you off for Blizzards?!” (At this point I couldn’t contain my disappointment). He replied with a shrug and muttered “yes!” The entire experience left me with feelings of frustration, disappointment, & even anger! The other DQ establishments I’ve been to would have never done anything like this IMO. This was the type of experience that will never allow me to return (and I’ve purposely waited a while to post this review)! I’ll be calling corporate next!
