An extremely frustrating and publicly humiliating pickup experience. My Uber Eats order had been marked “Ready for pickup” for about an hour, but when I arrived, it was nowhere to be found. What should have been a simple missing-order issue ended with an employee yelling at me across the restaurant, demanding that I apologize to her, and publicly accusing me of ordering from the wrong location—even though another employee had already checked my phone and confirmed this was the correct store.
When I first reported the missing order, a female employee suggested someone else might have taken it. She repeatedly questioned the order time and asked for my name at least five times, even after I showed her the order information. She then continued doing other tasks without telling me whether anything was being done to resolve the missing order.
When I asked whether another employee could help, she told me only she could because the other employees did not speak English. I said that was fine—I simply needed someone who could remake the order. What made this especially confusing was that the other team members I later spoke with communicated with me fluently in English and clearly understood the issue.
After receiving no clear help, I approached a second employee myself. He initially asked whether I might have ordered from another Chipotle, which was reasonable to verify. He then actually checked my phone and confirmed that yes, this was the correct location.
By then roughly ten minutes had passed. Eventually, the manager on duty stepped in and handled the situation completely differently: quickly, courteously, and effectively. He understood the issue and had all three items prepared in less than two minutes. I genuinely appreciate his help.
Unfortunately, the worst part happened after the problem was already resolved. As I was leaving, the first employee stared at me and then suddenly began yelling across the restaurant that I needed to apologize to her. The entire dining room could hear it. She then loudly claimed that the problem was my fault because I had ordered from the wrong location.
That accusation was false. I had to stop leaving and pull up my receipt, order details, and store location in front of everyone. I also explained that the second employee had already independently checked my phone and confirmed this was the correct Chipotle. Even after that, she continued arguing rather than acknowledging the mistake.
I understand that pickup orders can occasionally be taken by someone else and that restaurant employees are busy. That is not why I am leaving this review. The issue is how a legitimate missing-order problem was handled—and especially how it escalated into a public confrontation and false accusation after the facts had already been verified.
I sincerely appreciate the manager and the second employee who helped resolve the problem. Unfortunately, the first employee turned what should have been a routine pickup correction into one of the most uncomfortable and humiliating restaurant experiences I have had.

They discriminate customers based on skin color. They will not add extra or on side of guacamole in veggie’s bowl, however they will charge extra. When i asked for receipt, they denied.

I used to love chipotle but the last 6 times we’ve gone, the food is so salty I can’t even eat the whole thing. It isn’t just this location either. It’s been all over California (club volleyball). This makes me sad to say but I won’t be going back to any Chipotle until they figure out their recipes
