I sent my teenage daughter into the store to get an 8 piece meal today. The Mexican lady at the counter ignored her and PRETENDED not to speak English. She was talking with another worker the entire time, ignoring what my child was asking for. She showed her a text from me, in Spanish, to help them communicate. And this is the chicken she gave her, completely out of spite. She didn't even include the 2nd chicken leg. I was disappointed, not because she was ignoring her, some people are not kind no matter what industry it is. But if a person wants to order from the deli, the selection should never come with an attitude. My daughter was being polite, so why wasn't the woman at the deli counter? My child didn't deserve that and Von's needs to maintain a standard of respect for their own brand because little moments like these tarnish a long standing reputation of good service. The skin isn't even on half the chicken and I know that if I was standing at the counter, she would've thought twice about throwing chicken in a bag with an attitude.

I was so surprised of how many and what items were in the clearance section of this VONS. I absolutely love the variety of snacks they have as far as corn nuts, Chia seeds, types of nuts, nuts with chili powder, dried fruit, the chip isle had a lot of the baked options including flaming hot lemon, bbq, and flaming hot, cheddar. The store was clean and well stocked. Only the bathroom was questionable. I did forget to mention that I was amazed when what looked like a male supervisor or manager was helping the crew restock go-backs. This is like going to the zoo...you never see a panda until you go specifically to see the panda.

I come to this store almost every other day a few days ago I went in at night and a security guard was following me around the store he must of been new because I haven't seen him before but after following me and observed that I didn't steal anything he went to the front of the store where he watched me pay for my things I only had 3 things in my hand by the way and then before I exited he made me empty out my pockets and lift up my shirt if front of other customers
