  🚨 HEALTH HAZARD 🚨 I was shocked by the condition of the produce department at this Albertsons. There appeared to be extensive white and dark mold-like growth or residue covering multiple produce display shelves and surfaces where fresh fruits and vegetables are sold. I took multiple photos because I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Fresh produce should never be displayed on visibly contaminated surfaces. California food safety regulations require food to be protected from contamination and food-contact surfaces to be maintained in a clean and sanitary condition. This department looked neglected and unsanitary. I have reported this issue and will share an update later this week on whether it has been resolved. I sincerely hope management addresses this immediately. Until then, I won't be purchasing produce from this location.

  All the different types of good produce, meats, deli section, flowers and alcohol. I prefer the self check out, 15 item limit, if not purchasing alcohol.

  Albertsons in Palos Verdes sets a high bar for a neighborhood grocery experience. The shelves are impeccably organized, offering a diverse range of products from fresh produce to pantry staples. The staff exemplifies efficiency: organized, proactive, and genuinely helpful at every turn. The store is spotless, and with a Starbucks inside, it’s easy to get a coffee fix while you shop. Ample parking makes the visit effortless. I highly recommend this location for anyone seeking a clean, efficient, and well-supported shopping experience.

  This Albertsons on Western Ave in San Pedro, Ca is a very large and spacious store. Clean and well organized. Great to shop there until check out time. There are never more than 2 of 6 check stands open with at least 6 people in each line. Who wants their frozen items thawing waiting to checkout?! This still happens when the self checkout line also has people waiting. Does the manager not see what's going on or just doesn't care? This has an going on for months and even checkers apologize for this problem but say they can't do anything about it . Checkers also has to bag customers items since box boys are few and far between. Poorly managed store and I hope corporate takes note and allows them to hire more help.

  Albertsons is great. They have the best produce section available. They even have obscure produce such as broccoli sprouts and various mushrooms. Yesterday I found Tillamook cream cheese that "contains no gums or preservatives. I'm stoked. I've been eating Philadelphia cream cheese that contains carob bean gum. I'm trying to cut out all of the crap process food manufacturers put in their products i.e. industrial starches, gums, preservatives, artificial flavors and colors.
