  This place is the best burger place i’ve ever been to. Their fries and onion rings are also the best i’ve ever had. Absolutely amazing. The staff is A+++, very friendly and helpful. I come into the bay area for work often and have been wanting to try this place. Now i’m coming every time i’m in town. Please open more locations especially in SoCal! Shout out to Layla too for her excellent recommendations. 👌🏻🔥🔥🔥

  Super shocked to login and see this wonderful smashburger restaurant siting at a 4.7 rating on google reviews. Ignore the front page news and take the current news. This is a perfect 5 Star restaurant, no doubt about. If it is your first time here, the cashier will help narrow down your order. If it is your second or third time here, please take use of their ordering technologies such online, doordash or the digital console, and if it is your third time or fourth time back, you have realized what San Jose has been missing for all these year. GM Ricky has the hospitality of a Michelin Star restaurant, and it reflects in his kitchen staff and front of the house staff. Also, there great selection of beers at great prices and the handspun milkshakes are the some the best in the bay area.

  My husband and I loved it. We ordered the jalapeno double burger combo. I was expecting pickled jalapenos, but these were fresh. I liked that the bun was smaller than the meat, less bun more flavorful meat with crispy edges. The staff was great very attenitive for fast food. I can't wait to go back to try something different, maybe not, because this burger was delicious. Oh, the fries were seasoned, which was a plus and they gave me ranch dressing that I didn't have to ask for

  Talk about a staff that is on top of it. This place was hopping when we arrived and I expected that it would be difficult to find a table but one of the staff walked up to me and told me where a few tables who were getting ready to leave were. Then, as we ate, we were asked by at least 3 different people if we wanted drink refills or if we needed sauces or anything else. The food was bananas flavorful (not that it tastes like bananas it's just a better or descriptive way of saying "crazy"). After we left and walked over to the games tore downtown only to discover it was closed due to hours that make it impossible to visit if you have any kind of normal job we decided to go back to Sixth Street and grab some shakes (it didn't take much convincing by my friends). When we went in the woman at the register remebered our names. Talk about the little things making all the difference (she wasn't little, just the little bits of service and attention to small details were the little things, if you are reading this woman from the counter I don't think you are little but I really appreciate you remembering my name.) I plan on going back often and you should too.

  Decided to finally check this place out after passing by several times a week, every week. Definitely had a great experience on my very first visit. I wasn't quite sure what to order because everything on the menu looked super good, but their employee, Valentin, spent time going over everything and made some great recommendations. He was very enthusiastic about the food and shared with me his personal favorites. He certainly did not over-hype the food, it was one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. He provided some different sauces to try which made it a fun experience (the green jalapeno one is AMAZING!!). Valentin shared with me some of the restaurant's history and was very excited for what's to come... He was very chill to talk to. The employee who helped me later with ordering a milkshake (blueberry cheesecake?!? OMG!) was also great, and delivered service with the brightest smile. I do hope to see more locations open up in the near future. Support this local business, you won't be disappointed!
