    for japanese style fast food, it was tasty and well prepared. the service was quick and staff friendly. the tables were very clean as was the whole restaurant. the wait person also came out between customers and cleaned up. very friendly. good place to eat. atmosphere was typical of a fast food place, but cleaner than most. plenty of parking, kids welcome.

    I'm sad to write that Happi House has gone down hill. The last time I had been there was 5 years ago. I grew up in CA and Happi House had always been a favorite. Later in life I moved to Arizona. Every time I went back to CA to visit, I would stop in. Some times twice a day to get my fix! Well, my husband asked me what I wanted for my birthday dinner and I said Happi House. We drove from 7AM to 6PM and arrived just in time for dinner! I was even blessed to have one of my long time besties and her son meet us there. šŸ„° The disappointmenting part was definitely the chicken. It was dried out. Not moist at all. It's too bad, because now that Happi House isn't delicious anymore, I have no reason to return to CA. Very disappointed. P.S. the photos on the website showed an outdoor patio which was not true. We had our super cute golden doodles with us and they had to wait outside without us when all along we were planning to dine on the patio. šŸ‘Ž P.S.S. If you ever remember receiving comments in the comment box that read "Please open a Happi House in Arizona" that was me. Every single time I went since I moved, that was my comment. šŸ˜
