  Golden Deli San Gabriel — 5-Star Review Golden Deli San Gabriel is a fantastic spot for delicious Vietnamese food! Everything was flavorful, fresh, and generously portioned, with great attention to quality. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the whole experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Definitely a place I’d happily return to whenever I’m craving a satisfying Vietnamese meal!

  Golden Deli is more than just delicious! Their take out is fast and efficient and still fresh by the time we got home! Be sure to ask for some chili oil <3

  Family run spot, great service, delicious food. Last visit my friends and I tried a bit of everything and it was sooo good 🤤 Pho, bahn mi sandwich, some pork, and the rolls And as a coffeeholic, I had to try their iced coffee. Def be aware that it's strong but so good

  This one is very difficult for me to write because this is one of the OG pho spots that I went to when I first got introduced to for 20 years ago and unfortunately the quality of the pho has dropped dramatically. The broth here used to be some of the best broth in all of San Gabriel Valley and up to par and better than a lot of Broths in Westminster but now it is just mid. Not only did the broth take a dive but the meat was really cheap and chewy and the bowl has actually gotten smaller so it's very difficult to put all the side trimmings in the bowl itself. the last time I went here 10 years ago none of this was the case so it's really surprising that this place still gets lines and I think it's really just living off of its Legacy because there's several other places in a miles radius that are just better flavor wise which is really sad. hopefully it was maybe one off at least with a broth and meat but frankly I would never go back there and wait in line to get that pho again hell i probably wont go back period. Way too much good pho out there. luckily the time I went there was no line but I know that a lot of times there's still a line to get into this place and frankly if you're waiting in line to get this far you're out of your mind. Also even though the service was upbeat it wasn't as like proactive as I had remembered it being where you used to be like almost a friend for every person who ate there. Maybe the broth got watered down due to business but I doubt it as I came in on a Thursday around 3ish pm and there was no line. So to the owners please go back to how it use to be even if you have to raise prices. As it was super disappointing for this old school customer.

  Golden Deli exceeded all of my expectations on my first visit. From the moment we arrived, the restaurant had a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and despite being busy, the service was friendly, attentive, and impressively efficient. We ordered the meatball pho, seafood noodle soup, and fresh spring rolls, and every dish was outstanding. The meatball pho had a rich, deeply flavorful broth that tasted like it had been simmering for hours. The meatballs were tender and packed with flavor, making every bite satisfying. The seafood noodle soup was equally impressive, filled with a generous assortment of fresh seafood and perfectly cooked noodles in a delicious, comforting broth. The fresh spring rolls were light, fresh, and filled with crisp vegetables and flavorful ingredients, paired with a delicious peanut dipping sauce that brought everything together beautifully. The portions were generous, the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and you could tell that every dish was prepared with care and authenticity. It’s not often that every item on the table is equally memorable, but Golden Deli accomplished exactly that. I can absolutely understand why Golden Deli has earned such a loyal following over the years. If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food made with high-quality ingredients and great flavors, this is a place you shouldn’t miss. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Highly recommended!
