  My partner and I came for brunch on a saturday. We waited 15-20 mins for a table which is impressive b/c it looked quite busy! We got a great seat outside and our server was awesome. We got the Maya mimosa and La Fluer mimosa, both were super tasty! We got the Tahiti french toast ( Holy cow! I will be returning just for this!) the burger, The salads marius, and a side of chicken apple sausage. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and quick and the atmosphere was pleasant. I will be definitely be back!

  Wow. Zazie has been going strong for 35 years and dinner tonight was a reminder of why it’s such a beloved and busy place. We ordered three starters to begin: the mushroom fondue, steak tartare, and the chicken liver pate. These are apps I order at restaurants everywhere and Zazie’s are the best. The tartare was topped with a quail egg and has a bit of pickle which gave it an amazing brightness. The whole table loved it. The chicken liver pate was rich, creamy, and served on grilled toast (fabulous), and the mushroom fondue!!! We could have stopped there but then ordered the mussels which are the best I’ve ever had. (I’m not exaggerating!). Plump, juicy, and flavorful. My son had the burger with Gorgonzola. Delicious! We finished by singing Happy Birthday to my husband over a lovely crème brûlée. I also love that there is no tipping. The restaurant is now owned by the chef and team and everyone has a living wage, health and dental insurance as well as a 401(k) plan. Clearly this is a place that takes care of its staff as well as they take care of their customers. I’ve been coming to Zazie since 1994 (when I was single and return with my husband and adult son). It’s really special that they have managed to keep the culture and level of cuisine so high.

  oooohweeeeee the gingerbread pancake w/ caramelized pear & lemon curd sent me to outer space. you can tell a lot of thought and care goes into the food they put on your table. great service as well, found me a spot so quickly!

  We ordered the pain de mie French toast and the Albert eggs benedict. The French toast was underwhelming, very plain and lacking the richness or creativity we expected. The eggs benedict was reliable and nicely cooked, though not particularly memorable. Overall, a mixed experience.

  While visiting our daughter she brought us here for brunch. It’s such a charming restaurant with incredibly friendly staff. The food was fantastic. We had Un, Deux, Trois and substituted French toast for their pancakes. Everything was delicious! Would highly recommend a visit if you live in the area or if you’re in town for a visit.
