  We went really late right before closing and the food was still made fresh from scratch. You can tell it was really healthy and made with care. The owners are also really really nice people.

  Veg-o-licious just opened a few days ago and I was amazed watching them prep the restaurant in what seemed like a major overhaul in just 2 weeks, and so I was very eager to go in and welcome them to the neighborhood and support them in their soft open. Oh my goodness! I could go back for the yogurt alone and just eat that, which was just a dish they brought me as a side. The yogurt is made fresh daily. You just can't get anything like that anywhere in the city. It would have to be home made by your grandma or something. Everything is so fresh that it tastes like heaven. This is a husband and wife vegetarian restaurant and the food is so enjoyable to eat and so satisfying you'll just keep coming back. The rice was perfect! And the rice pudding was just lovely. I haven't even gotten to the lentils, subtle but at the same time packed with flavor, perfectly cooked to perfection. I kept thinking about how hard it is to cook a steak perfectly; well, that kind of perfection went into the lentils––perfect texture, beautiful flavor. If that's not enough, the owners are delightful. They are not only skilled cooks, you just taste the love in the food--truly something special. And they make you feel like home, such warmth and kindness. Support them now while they just opened. You'll be so happy you did, and you'll keep coming back. I know I will.
