About

RestaurantItalian Restaurant
A spirited, bar-driven restaurant serving rustic Italian fare with modern sensibilities, Tratto means the stroke of a pen in Italian, a nod to the neighborhood’s artistic history. A flavorful menu of simple, delicious and shareable dishes coupled with casual, communal-style dining creates a neighborhood bar experience inspired by the Italian happy hour tradition of "aperitivo." Dishes such as house-made pastas and sausages, pizza, seasonal vegetables and seafood are prepared with as little manipulation as possible, ranging from slow-cooked braises to "à la minute" cuisine. Our full bar features traditional Italian cocktails with a twist, house-made Italian Sodas and limoncellos, and beer and wine sourced from the best of the West Coast and Italy.

Room service from Tratto while staying at The Marker. Ordered Ravioli. Came within 10 minutes. For $43 American, I got exactly 8 lukewarm, VERY salty/ over parmagianized ravioli. Plus they forgot my diet coke.

The pesto gnocchi was amazinggg! We came here for restaurant week and I would come back again for just this dish. Cocktails were great too.

Had a very lovely anniversary dinner here before seeing a play at one of the nearby theatres. Wonderful atmosphere and service. We were able to sit by the window which provided great city life viewing. Food was delicious. My only gripe is that basic San Pellegrino was $12 per bottle.

Decent food but overpriced and small portions. They add a 20% automatic gratuity to the bill and then ask you for another tip on top of that. Overall unsatisfactory for the price.

We both had the Anatara -- overcooked pieces of duck in a sauce with globs of fat. Served with a couple of leaves of dried kale. Definitely one of the worst meals I've had in a long time. Depressing atmosphere - - would definitely not recommend
