  Tratto might be one of our new favorite happy hours by Union square! Love how they have HH every day & have a good variety of items available. Our group started with a few drinks (Drake’s Beer, Limoncello Spritz, Mezcal Sour, Piedmont Fields) as well as the meatballs & truffle fries. Everything was great but the Mezcal Sour really stood out to me. We stayed for their dinner service which we also loved - the fixed menu had a very nice variety of dishes & delicious desserts to end the night.

  Tasty food, but quite expensive and was still hungry after eating. 20% tip is included without asking. I wouldn't go back.

  Had such a great night at Tratto! We ended up sitting at the bar and honestly couldn’t have had a better experience. Patricia and Arthur were fantastic—friendly, attentive, and genuinely fun to talk to without ever making the service feel forced. What really stood out was the hospitality. Patricia and Arthur made us feel completely taken care of from the moment we sat down. Great drinks, great energy, and stellar service. Definitely adding Tratto to the list of places we’ll come back to in San Francisco.

  We had such a lovely dinner at Tratto San Francisco! No date night is complete without classic Italian favorites and a low-lit, intimate atmosphere, and Tratto was the perfect spot for both. 🇮🇹✨ Located near Union Square, it’s an ideal stop after a day of shopping and exploring the city. The restaurant has a warm, inviting atmosphere, and we loved that the menu is thoughtfully curated with dishes that are perfect for sharing, so we could try a little bit of everything. We started with the Bruschetta, Arancini, and Kale Salad, followed by the Gnocchi al Pesto, Risotto, and Pollo Toscano. Everything was flavorful and beautifully presented. Of course, we couldn’t pass up dessert and ended the evening with both the Tiramisu and Italian Donuts — definitely worth saving room for! Overall, Tratto is a great choice for a date night, special occasion, or simply a delicious Italian dinner in the city. We loved every bite and would definitely come back!
