  It wasn't busy for lunch so we were waited on quickly. I have heard it can get busy for dinner. My family was able to get gluten free and I ordered Fried feta. This was an appetizer that eats like a meal. The food is amazing.

  The Parthenon is always a hit! Without any doubt one of my favorite restaurants in the city. Last week we had a 25 people graduation party and everything was absolutely incredible. The food was delicious, the drinks on point, and all of this in such a lovely welcoming environment. The service was kind, fun and professional. Cem, the owner was taking care of every small detail, making our dinner not only exquisite, but memorable.

  I had a fantastic dining experience here! The atmosphere of the place is beautiful, making it a great spot for any occasion. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our meal. As for the food, the Pomegranate Souvlaki was definitely my favorite main course—flavorful and perfectly prepared. For appetizers, I highly recommend the calamari, fries, and the octapodaki; they were all delicious. Overall, a wonderful place with great service and amazing food. I will definitely be back!

  I am very sorry, but there is no point in expecting authentic and high‑quality Greek food from that place. I ordered the beef souvlaki. The meat was very tough and dry, and it was also burnt. It felt as if it had been cooked earlier in the morning and later reheated in a microwave. The food was cold. The vegetables were completely tasteless. Soivlaki is not usually served with tzatziki sauce; instead, it is typically accompanied by a red sauce made from tomatoes, basil, and garlic and correct mix of spices of course. The choice of music was also entirely inappropriate. Club music does not suit a Greek restaurant at all. The interior was equally dull and characterless.

  We had the most amazing Greek meal at the Parthenon Restaurant in San Francisco. We ordered the octopus,perfectly tender and incredibly tasty, along with beetroot, mushrooms, and mussels. Every dish was bursting with authentic flavour. A lovely touch was the complimentary warm pitta and Greek salsa, which set the tone beautifully. It’s a definite yes from us. We spend much of our time living in Greece, so we know and appreciate genuine Greek cooking and this absolutely delivered. The only slight downside was the limited non-alcoholic beer selection, with just one option plus a malt drink. That said, the New Zealand Sauvignon was excellent and went down a treat with my wife. Νόστιμο!
