  Amazing, delicious, impeccable - those define the atmosphere, food and service at newly renovated Big Four. Heard a lot about Bug Four and Huntington hotel so wanted to try on asap. This is one place to celebrate anything you want to celebrate, we had an unforgettable birthday party. The menu had limited options but covers steak, chicken, lamb and fish dishes. We tried all, absolutely delicious dishes. Halibut was out of the world and it's popular pot pie dish stands to his hype. Absolutely well cooked, melts in mouth with gravy that stays in your mount for long. Chicken pot pie is extremely hot, soup like chicken mixed vegetables in a pot. The lamb was highlight of the night, absolutely cooked to perfection - asked for well done and it was perfect. The cocktails are unique, classic old fashioned and martinis are unique to this place, worth trying all of you can. Wine menu is decent, a bit expensive but a single Cabernet Sauvignon on the menu was Freeman, Napa Valley and it was with it. Finally, the desert option were all worth trying them all - chocolate cake including. The live music enhanced the atmosphere value. The crowd was very well dressed so most of them were having a big night here. I would recommend wearing a nice suite, blazer for men. Night out dresses looked common here I highly recommend this place for a night out even if you are not celebrating. With a visit any time. Live Bug Four.

  We celebrated my wife's birthday dinner at The Big Four and we weren't let down! The restaurant is romantic and we were greeted by the friendly hostesses. We were seated at a really nice booth that already had a really nice card for my wife's birthday. They also brought a rose to our table. All of the staff were really friendly. Our server Shaun was outstanding! Blue was also really nice. Everything that we ate was delicious and we ate a lot of different items. We were given complimentary glasses of Champagne. We ordered Saltwater Bakery Sourdough, Elbow Mac & Cheese Gratin, Caramelized Onion Soup Gratinee, Dry-Aged Ribeye, The Big Four Organic Chicken Pot Pie, Charred Baby Broccoli. We ordered dessert but to our surprise we were also given a complimentary birthday dessert as well. It was a wonderful birthday dinner! We will definitely be back sometime!

  The retro steakhouse on Nob Hill is stunning—think low lights, banquette seating, and old-world charm. We had a quiet table; it wasn’t too busy, but the vibe felt special. Staff were warm and helpful, with one server going above and beyond. The ribeye was incredible, but the Crudo lacked punch. Portions were generous for the price. Parking’s a hassle nearby, but worth it. One tweak? Maybe dim the modern can lights—they’re a bit harsh on the historic feel.

  Made a Sunday lunch reservation at Big Four for a date, specifically to catch their live jazz (they have it every weekend). The atmosphere alone is worth the visit — it's set in a historic building, with a dark emerald dining room that feels calm and intimate. Food was delightful. I had the shakshuka, which was really well made and came with toasted sourdough. My husband got the omelette with salmon and loved it too. We shared a slice of chocolate cake at the end — a perfect finishing touch. Definitely recommend this spot for an atmospheric date. Already looking forward to checking out Nob Hill Spa nearby for a future staycation.
