- YHyulin huang6 days ago1.0Very bad service with the cashier name Marie. A lady with black glasses. Always no patience!!! Since I didn’t have enough money in my account, I wanted to cancel one of the item, but she got really impatient and asked, “Why didn’t you say something earlier?” If I’d known in advance that these items would exceed my balance, I wouldn’t have used them to pay for the order… and the other time is I asking her about the PLU number. She looked very impatient and then said, "Just search by name yourself." How to search?I’m not the employee…I’m not working for the Safeway. But you’re the employee, you have the right to service the customer nicely. Maybe she resist my race. I would never shopping for this Safeway anymore.

In the short interaction with her, I noticed her perform the following: 1. she was helping/mentoring a clerk in the next lane aisle while still holding down her own lane 2. she followed protocol and asked me for my id despite me looking old enough to purchase 3. she was very kind & patient with non-English speakers, which is important in an area as diverse as this store's geographic location I think she's an asset to your store & a good representative of the brand. I typically go to Westlake but might swing by here more often

The person in charge of the exit is arrogant; if I were the owner, I’d fire her. I live nearby, and something like this had never happened to me before.
