  Real genuine people that work at this Safeway location . The staff always are very friendly and helpful as soon as a customer walks into the establishment . Always greeting and providing service with a smile .

  Everything is perfect! The only thing I fell bad about is the words of there cashier ( there word selection I don’t know about all of them but I have to be on a line of 40-45 year lady ) nobody is perfect on everything thing and of course you know how stressful is to do groceries and other things is I am continually doing my groceries from Safeway i never felt this bad. My mistake was I mixed different name tomatoes on same bag but I was unaware of the price difference I saw 3.99 p/lb so I put them all together. At that moment I do say sorry but she be like arguing with me for that miner mistake. I was sorry that was my fault I do ask for apologies but she be giving me a whole bunch of lecture! Please be polite that’s all I have to say . Hopefully guys this thing help you for the important. thank you

  If you won't hire enough people to run the checkout, why would you lock up all your merchandise???? We waited almost half an hour for sunscreen, something we couldn't leave without. I don't blame the staff at all. Only three cashier's and no one on the floor is a terrible way to run a business. They are overworked! It's like the store doesn't want the money I'm literally trying to give them. I'll do everything in my power to not come back here. I feel so bad for the people working here too. Safeway should do better.

  ​Easily the worst grocery store I’ve visited anywhere in the country. An employee literally escorted me to register to pay upfront for locked-away toothpaste. On top of that, the staff is untrained and downright hostile, and the product quality is terrible. A place like this is an embarrassment to San Francisco.

  The store itself is nice, and some of the staff members are as well. However, there are a few staff members that make this the worst Safeway I've ever shopped at. From being yelled at and humiliated for mentioning an incorrect price to being injured by the security gate slamming right into somewhere not nice, it always seems there's a serious problem only while shopping here. Today the tag fell off my fried chicken and my cashier reasonably asked what it was so I told her, and as she was ringing it up another cashier grabs my bag of chicken with her dirty cashier rubber gloves storms off while opening it and looking inside without a word to either of us. My cashier was as trippin just as much as me. When asked she blamed me because there tag didnt stick to the bag and she needs to go weigh it and make sure the pieces are right. It wasnt a sale, just normal a 9.99 8 piece. Insanity. The lines are way too long, and the prices are well above the other two I shop at. On that note, the Market and Mission Safeways are great. Shop there instead. This one is terrible.
