  This Safeway has a serious problem with both cleanliness and customer treatment. The parking lot smelled like urine, and security was watching and questioning people almost immediately after they parked. I understand having parking rules, but there is a professional way to communicate them. This was not it.

  I would avoid this Safeway if possible. The parking area was dirty and smelled terrible, and the security staff made the experience even worse. I had barely parked before being questioned about whether I was going into Safeway or across the street. It felt hostile and completely unwelcoming.

  Very unpleasant experience at this Safeway. The parking lot smelled strongly of urine, and security approached almost immediately after I parked to question where I was going. The tone was aggressive and unnecessary. Customers should not feel harassed just for parking and walking around the area. Definitely one of the worst Safeway locations I’ve visited.

  This is easily one of the worst Safeway locations I have ever been to. The parking lot smells strongly like urine, the whole area feels dirty and unpleasant, and the worst part is the security. You barely park your car before they come over with an aggressive attitude asking whether you are going into Safeway or planning to cross the street. Why does it even matter what I plan to do after I park? I came to the store, but from the moment you arrive, they treat you like you are doing something wrong. Instead of making customers feel welcome, you get questioned and pressured in the parking lot while the property itself is filthy and smells terrible. One of the worst Safeway locations I have ever experienced. Terrible atmosphere, aggressive security, and an extremely unpleasant place overall. I have no desire to come back.

  While I was checking out at the self‑checkout station, a middle‑aged Hispanic female staff member with shoulder‑length straight, deep burgundy‑colored hair was standing nearby. My husband was standing right next to this staff member and witnessed the whole incident. She said “thank you” to every white customer who finished their purchase and walked past her. However, when my group walked right past her after completing payment, she gave us no greeting at all. As a service‑industry employee, she has no right to treat paying customers in such a discriminatory manner. I feel saddened by her conduct. As an Asian customer, this experience made me feel very uncomfortable. I believe this differential treatment stems from racial bias. I hope management can look into this matter.
