  Yesterday October 9, we waited approximately 15 minutes before finding a parking spot. When we arrived, an older security guard with a white beard, along with two other men, approached us in an aggressive manner and immediately demanded that we leave the parking area. I calmly explained that we had just arrived and only needed to visit the store briefly, assuring him that we would leave within 10 minutes. However, he continued arguing with us and then began treating my family in the same disrespectful manner. To avoid further confrontation, we decided to leave immediately. What concerned us most was the apparent inconsistency in how the situation was handled. Other people were sitting in their cars eating, including individuals parked directly in front of us and to our right. Yet, the guard spent several minutes confronting us while only briefly speaking to the others. I respectfully request that management review this incident and address the guard's conduct. Security personnel have an important responsibility to manage parking and enforce rules professionally and fairly. They should communicate respectfully with visitors rather than making them feel intimidated or unfairly targeted. I hope management will take this feedback seriously and ensure that all visitors are treated with courtesy, fairness, and respect.

  Terwijl ik twijfelde tussen 2 verschillende flessen water voelde ik ogen priemen en keek ik om me heen om een lange, Hispanic caissière te zien gluren. Het leek erop alsof hij me stiekem in de gaten wilde houden en dacht dat ik water zou stelen😂

  I always have an excellent experience with the people here. The customers can be terrible but the actual team is amazing!! It's my go to Safeway. It's the best Safeway that I have ever patroned.

  Jenny, working at the sandwich & fried chicken corner, is incredibly kind to my little one every single time we visit. She always smiles at us, goes out of her way to be thoughtful, and even gives a little extra size to make us feel welcome. Her warm and bright smile truly make our day. Thank you so much for your excellent customer service and for always being so sweet to my little one!

  The Marina Safeway has become one of our main options when we need a full-size supermarket nearby. The large parking lot is a big convenience, and the store is generally well stocked and organized with a wide variety of groceries and household items. The produce section is particularly large, and they also have a good selection of canned goods and harder-to-find items. Recently, I was able to find distilled water here after not finding it at other nearby stores. On another visit, we were looking for low-sodium canned soups, and this Safeway had several choices when other nearby stores did not. Prices can be somewhat higher than at some other stores, but the product quality and selection are generally good. It can also get busy and crowded, especially at peak times, but the staff have been friendly and helpful on our visits. Overall, it's a convenient and reliable option for a full grocery-shopping trip.
