I had a wonderful experience at Pescatore! The atmosphere is elegant yet cozy, featuring charming interior details The food was the absolute highlight—the chicken Parmesan was perfectly crisp, generously portioned, and served over delicious spaghetti with a rich, flavorful tomato sauce. A spot-on dining experience with great attention to detail.

We stayed at Hotel Zoe for 2 nights pre-cruise and ate at Pescatore for both dinners and breakfasts because the service and food was excellent. Ryan the manager welcomed us the first night. He’s very friendly but also a compliment to the staff because he also helps with service when needed. We watched the interaction between him and the staff, you can tell it is like a small family working together as a team, not “just business”. Which explains why there are some staff that have been there 30+ years, 25 years, 10 years, etc. One night they were down a server but Morgan (bartender) stepped right in and helped take our order and also served us. She was so friendly and responsive. We had Ricardo as our waiter for both breakfasts, we thoroughly enjoyed talking with him. Now the food….we tried Aracine balls and Margarita pizza the first night, both were delicious and fresh, not frozen. The pizza is made in a beautiful wood fire pizza oven. Breakfast was also delicious, the home fries were hand cut and perfectly cooked. The omelettes were made with fresh, hand cut vegetables, not greasy at all and super fluffy. Sourdough bread was also fresh! Highly recommend eating here if you are staying at Hotel Zoe (recommended too) or even if you are not. We spoke to Ryan a bit. He mentioned the city has really concentrated on cleaning up the area to bring tourism back and it shows. The area was extremely clean. Sidewalks were clean and power washed, fresh paint on buildings, barely saw any graffiti and only one homeless person. It was very safe to walk around the neighborhood and fisherman’s wharf. Give Pescatore a try, you won’t be disappointed. We look forward to our return trip in the winter.

Being by myself on my work trip, I sat at the bar to make room for other patrons. I was well taken care of even though the bartender was working alone. They were attentive and polite, sharing recommendations as well. The salmon and whipped potatoes with vegetables was just the right amount of food and cooked to perfection. I definitely recommend for anyone looking for a wonderful meal in the Wharf area.

This was a gem, hidden in a hotel it has exceptional service and a perfect wine list to match the menu. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service.
