The food was incredibly flavorful and authentically inspired by Northern Iran. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully garnished, and full of unique flavors that you don't often find at Persian restaurants. The presentation reflected the same level of care and attention that went into the cooking. The restaurant is cozy, traditional, and beautifully designed, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The service was exceptional, friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. If you're looking to experience Northern Iranian cuisine in the Bay Area, I highly recommend this place.

The quantity of the food was not worth the price at all. The appetizers looked like tasting samples, we received only about one spoonful each of yogurt, Zeytoon Parvardeh, and Mirza Ghasemi, which was honestly ridiculous. The main course was also way too small to satisfy even one person. The entire meal was worth $20 at most, but our bill came out to around $80. The menu was very limited, and the dishes only looked like Northern Iranian food, they were far from authentic. I don’t recommend it at all.

So, the atmosphere and vibes were ok and nice. But the food…. I was totally disappointed by the portions compared to the prices! We ordered the Mazze platter and it said for two, but it was really small portions! Maybe not even for one person but the price was 37 $! It was just like two spoons of each in a platter.! So we ordered mazze and food but we were not full. It was just like a snack. The food was decent, but not worth it at all, we paid 80 and some for two people and even didn’t get full!

Party of four, and all of us left disappointed. We ordered the Neshtaa Mazze Platter, Sumac Beef Pan Kebab, and Sour Chicken Stew. The portions were surprisingly small for the prices charged. The biggest disappointment was the Neshtaa Mazze Platter. At $37, we expected a generous appetizer platter to share, but what arrived felt more like a sample plate. The portion size was honestly shocking for the price. The food itself was decent, but the value simply wasn’t there. For a party of four, the portions and overall experience did not justify the cost. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

We ordered eggplant and walnut, smoked fish and rice, and sour chicken stew. I could say it was the worst I had ever tasted in an Iranian restaurant. Eggplant and walnuts were bland and lacked the northern Iranian flavor. The chicken and rice were terribly oily and not Persian-style. Smoked fish is naturally salty, but this one tasted as if it had come out of a can! I couldn't eat it, so I left it and ordered Baghlava and tea to wash it down. Again, baghlava was a terrible knockoff you find in shops. Tgectea served in non-traditional cups in a non-Persian style. Overall, a very bad experience with two main dishes. Add the $10.50 terrible rose water and saffron drink, which seems to have no taste associated with either ingredient. Add the parking dilemma, and I believe they should not be in the restaurant business. Maybe open a Kebab shop, if they know how, and leave the great Persian dishes alone. It's a shame.
